  2. First, I love your name. ‘Blonde RJ’. Can I be “that other RJ”?

And I’m intrigued. What food allergies are in your family? (I love finding other food allergy families!) Our immediate family has a only a few of the “big eight”: Wheat and possibly peanuts. I definitely can’t tolerate wheat/gluten, though I haven’t been confirmed celiac. According to my doctor, I need to eat wheat for several weeks to have the blood test done, and if I eat a communion cracker on Sunday, I’m sick for at least three days. That’s confirmation enough for me, lol. And we’re waiting for results to come back for our two year old, as we suspect peanut allergies for him. (on top of the wheat allergy he seems to exhibit) I also have a whole list of raw fruits/veggies that I’m severely allergic to. Thankfully, thus far, my boys haven’t inherited those issues. Yet.

    • Yes, yes! Another female RJ! I think you are a Rebecca, right? I’m a Rachael. 😀

My daughter’s list of food allergies is like 50 items long. 😦 But she is growing out of a few each year! ❤ We get her blood-tested around her birthday every year to see how thins are improving.

Yeah, in the future, I'm going to bring my own crackers for my daughter for Communion!

Celiac's Disease is different. That's an auto-immune disorder, and is different from a wheat allergy. My daughter doesn't have Celiac's either, thank the Lord!

I want to hear from you!
